Cambridge Diet - Day 6

Today has been such a struggle for me. I have been craving food all day and have been in a really low mood this afternoon. I havn't managed to get uni sorted either, which is stressin me out.

I really wanted to quit the diet today. I was a little down because my scales weren't showing much loss and i thought that there is no point for me to be on this diet if i dont lose my stone a month. But i know i wont be able lose my weight any other way and even though it dont show much weightloss on my scales it will show in inches!!


Nothing much gone on today. Tried to do my essay but felt low so went back to bed for abit. I'm gona have a nice bubble bath inamin to pass some time and to prevent going downsatirs because family are having gorgeous kebabs tonight, mmmmm yum yum. I can smell them now!!

I know i am going to get very hungry tonight because i had to throw half my banana milkshake down the sink because it almost made me puke. It just tases like the nasty soups.

Today has consited of :

Chocolate milkshae (9am) - very nice with extra water
Strawbery milkshake (2pm) - very nice
Banana milkshake (8:30 pm) - HALF WENT DOWN THE SINK

+ 5 litres of water!!!!! I dont know how i managed this but i did. I dont think i will be able to drink as much tmrw because i have to go out.

Weing- In tmrw people, very very nervous. I really want a 7+ lbs loss, but i think it'l only be bout 4ish lbs :(. But i gota stay Positive!!

Cambridge Diet - Day 5

I managed 3 litres today which i am very proud of. I was trying to get 4 litres in today but i started to get lower back pain where my kidneys are after drinking about 1 litre in under an hour. Big mistake people. The pains went after a few trips to the loo. So tmrw, i am going to try and drink continuosly throughout the day and not all at once.

I have also been really bad with my milkshakes today. I did have all 3 but because i was not that hungry i kept forgeting to have them and left too much time between them ( i keep doing that!!).

I have been a little hungry though. Left over pizza from last night looked so tempting, mmmm. I had a long smell of it and then went for a walk to make the cravings go away.

I'm really missin my food. Fish and chips with mushy peas, fishcakes and crisps :'( . I had a lil cry last night to a friend on the phone because i really wanted to taste some good food. I think i was feeling abit low. I been bit abit snappy today aswell.

So today went like this:

Banana milkshake (10:15am) - really starting to hate this flavour, its giving me the sick feeling i was getting from the soups, ergh, makes me wana puke, bleh.
Strawberry milkshake (5pm) - I know i had this way to late today but it taste lovely
Chocolate milkshake (8:45pm) - i made this funny today because i was a bit light headed and didnt know what i was doing, lol. But i added abit of extra water and it didnt taste so nasty.

+ 3 litres

I guess i'm going to have to work out set times to have my milkshakes, i think the weekend messed it up abit. I gota work out how to drink 4 litres aswell.

Just finished watching 'It's a Boy Girl Thing' on DVD and really enjoyed it. I definately reccomend it!! Anyway, i'm going to bed now, so tired.

Cambridge Diet - Day 4

I did my ketosis test this morning as soon as i woke up and it was a deep purple colour. So i am in Ketosis now but i am alittle dehydrated, so i will have to drink more water.

Today has gone well, i woke up early but i wanted a lye in, so i fell asleep again even though i was starving and had terrible hunger pains. I didnt do much today and i wasn't very hungry. The house smelt really nice though because mum was cooking, so i went for a walk to resist.

I also managed to see my counsellor to swap my soups for milkshakes so i was happy about that. I also asked her how much water i should be drinking and she said 4 pints, so i have been drinking just about enough. I am going to try increase my water to 4 litres tho. I went shopping today and i got 2 2litre bottles of water and 1 1litre bottle, so i am all prepared. I also managed to look around the whole supermarket and did not feel tempted at all, lol.

Today i had:

Strawberry milkshake (10:35pm)
Chocolate milkshake (3:30pm)
Strawberry milkshake (8:30pm)

+ 5 pints of water :)

I have to go now so will try to post tomorow

Cambridge Diet - Day 3

I am going to make this quick because i am not feeling too good. I think my body is going into Ketosis, well i hope it is :)

Today has been ok, i was at college for most of the day and got really annoyed with having to be excused to go to the loo, i bet everyone thinks i'm weird, or i have a bladder problem or something, lol.

My milkshakes have been nice today, but i only had half a pint with each one because i didnt want to be going to the toilet too much when at college. I drank loads when i cam home though.

So today i have had:
Vanilla milkshake (7:45am) - dont like it too much
Strawberry milkshak (12:45pm) - i really like this flavour
Banana milkshake (7:45pm) - This is usually my favourite but it tasted weird today, it tasted like the soups, ergh.

+ 4.5 pints of water (which i am very proud of).

But i have been told today that i should be drinking 4 litres?? I thought the minimum was 4 pints so I am going to have to check this out with my CDC. I also have to see her to swap my soups for milkshakes, but she aint got back to me, which is pissing me off now because i only have enough milkshakes to last me to sunday night.

College was ok today. My exam went well. I have an essay due in for 2 weeks time and i can relax for a bit because i have about a month untill my next examss, so things all goody.

Tmrw i am going to use my ketosis sticks to see if am in ketosis, i cant wait, hehe. I dont know if i should check in the morning or at night?? I'll figure something out. I'm hoping i am in ketosis because my breath stinks of shit and i have a horrible taste in my mouth.

Anyway, i best be going.

Cambridge Diet - Day 2

I thought i would post about my day now because i have loads of revision to do tonight and i want an early night.

Today has gone well again. I woke up really not looking forward to my sachets because the taste of last nights soup was so vile i could still taste it in my mouth.

But i really enjoyed my morning strawberry shake. I still had to drink it with alternating sips of water but it was surprisingly really nice. My lunch soup did not go so well. I felt sick just by the smell of it. It was the chili one, ergh , it was vile. It ended up down the sink and i had a banana milkshake instead. It was sooo nice. I think it is my favourite so far.

So because the soups taste so disgusting, i have decided that i am going to swap the rest of my soups for the week for milkshakes. I left a message with my CD Counsellor and just have to wait for her to get back to me.

I think i will be in ketosis soon because my breath stinks of shyt and i have a horrible taste in my mouth. So bring on the ketosis and weight loss, whoop whoop. ( Sorry just really looking forward to seeing some lbs fall off).

So today i have had:

Strawberry milkshake (7:45pm)
Chili Soup - WENT DOWN THE SINK, I COULD NOT DRINK IT AT ALL.
Banana Milkshake (2pmish)
+ 2.5 pints of water

I am going to have a chocolate milkshake + 1 pint of water as soon as i finish typing this.

I think i am leaving too much time between my sachets, i think tmrw i will try to not spread them out as much.

I will have had 3.5 pints of water today which aint bad. I might even make it 4 pints. But rushing to the loo all the time is really annoying me now.

Today has generally been a good day. I went to all my appointments, got a little revision done and i have nearly sorted out university for september. But i have to wait untill next week to get it all finalised.

I thought i would mention that i have been really craving take away food today. Its not really been hunger, i just really want some chicken and chips, lol. But it doesnt take long for the cravings to pass.

I have to go now, i need my milkshake.

Cambridge Diet - Day 1

My first day on the cambridge diet is nearly over and i have to say that i think it has gone really well. I stuck to my 3 sachets with no cheating and i had about 3 pints and 8 oz of water, so nearly 4 pints there.

The only crap thing about today was the horrible sick feeling i got when trying to drink my milkshakes/soups. I found it difficult to finish them because i kept feeling sick and nearly puked a few times. The only way i could have them was to alternate sips of milkshake/soup with water. Because of this i got through about a pint of water at each meal, which i guess is a bonus as it made drinking more water alot easier.

I think the sick feeling may have been due to the concentrated minerals and vitamins in the diet. I guess my body aint used to getting all its nutrients. I am hoping this was the cause and that i will be better in a few days. Otherwise this diet is going to be a real struggle if it tastes nasty. I'm not really looking forward to tmrws sachets, but i will be glad when day 2 is over.

I didnt do much else today. Went shopping and got a new handheld blender thing and then revised loads. I felt ok today, I had no problems concentrating and only had alilttle headache at about 9ish. I just plan to drink lots of water to keep the side effects away.

I hope the rest of the week goes well. I am not looking forward to the carb withdrawal symptoms and me turning into a complete bitch as the diet affects my mood. I have given plenty of warning to those around me tho, so hopefully i won't cause too much damage.

So today i had:

Chocolate milkshake (9a.m) - felt really sick
Vanilla milkshake (1:20p.mish) - was nicer then i expected
Vegetable soup (7:30pm) - could not finish it all, almost made me throw up

+ 3 pints 8 oz

I also got a disposable camera today to take photos every week to see how my body changes. I might post them on here but i'l probably do it at the end of my programmme when i'm looking gorjus ;) and not so embarrassed about my how i look now.

Anyway, i think i'm going to have an early night, i feel abit tired. I will try find some time to post again tomorrow!
